Mediterranean Music Evening with Inva Mula & Friends

                               

On August 5, 2025, the Durrës Amphitheatre hosted an unforgettable evening of Mediterranean melodies with Inva Mula & Friends. Virtuoso brothers Ekland and Redi Hasa, alongside the Okarina Children’s Choir prepared by Elikona Hysaj Shala, brought passion, emotion, and pure artistry to the audience, creating a magical night of music in the heart of Durrës.

 

 

Durrës Fest – International Folklore Festival

                                            

The Durrës Fest took place over two nights at the Ancient Amphitheater, featuring live performances from folklore groups representing Albania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Sweden, Israel, Kosovo, Romania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cyprus, and more. The festival showcased a vibrant cultural program for locals and tourists alike, organized by Cultural Center “A.Moisiu” and Durrës Museum Center.

International Song and Dance Festival at the Ancient Amphitheater

                               

Around 400 participants from countries including Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Turkey, and Serbia took part in the International Song and Dance Festival at the Ancient Amphitheater of Durrës, celebrating folklore through vibrant performances.

Durrës String Orchestra Concert at the Ancient Amphitheater

Music lovers from Durrës and visiting tourists enjoyed a special evening at the Ancient Amphitheater, attending the Durrës String Orchestra concert featuring works by renowned Albanian and international composers. This event was part of the city’s vibrant tourist season cultural program.

Epidamn Heritage Night at Hamami i Durrësit

Hamami i Durrësit came alive with the Epidamn Heritage Night, featuring interactive crafts, storytelling, cello intermezzo, the “Equilibrium” performance, and AI projections of old Durrës. The evening blended history and contemporary art, engaging the public in a unique cultural experience, as part of the “Epidamn Heritage: Linking Past and Present” project supported by EU4Culture Albania.

Ari’s Angels Show at the Dyrrah Amphitheater

                 

The “Ari’s Angels Show” dance performance returned to the Dyrrah Amphitheater, delivering an enchanting evening of choreography, energy, and artistic expression, delighting all attendees.

Epidamn Cultural Night: Heritage and Art

On June 19, 2025, Hamami i Durrësit hosted the Epidamn Cultural Night, celebrating the city’s cultural heritage through live crafts, storytelling, cello intermezzo, the “Equilibrium” performance combining Swiss hang, Australian didgeridoo, Albanian drums, Greek bouzouki, and AI projections of old Durrës. The event offered a unique fusion of past and present art, free and open to the public.

ARIMETANI DANCE Performance at the Ancient Amphitheater

On June 13, the ARIMETANIDANCE Company presented a dynamic and expressive dance performance at the Ancient Amphitheater of Durrës, directed by choreographers Arimetani and Bana Kuquio, with assistance from Luiza Metani. The show offered a magical evening of dance and artistic expression for all attendees.

“Mediterraneo in Musica” Concert at the Ancient Amphitheater

                           

As part of the Italian Culture Week in Albania, the Rinore Orchestra of Magna Grecia performed at the Ancient Amphitheater of Durrës on June 2. The concert, organized by the Italian Embassy, Italian Cultural Institute Tirana, A. Moisiu Cultural Center, and Durrës Museum Center, showcased Italian musical excellence, from classical to contemporary, in a free and open event for the public.

Vila 31 x Art Explora – Cultural Venue Activities

                     

Vila 31 x Art Explora, the former residence of a historic era turned into an innovative artistic and cultural center, welcomed its first international residents from France, Tunisia, Lebanon, Malta, Italy, and other countries. The program offered open cultural activities including performances, discussions, workshops, readings, and film screenings from April 9–13, with free entry for all.

“Painters’ Colony” at the National Children’s Cultural Center Visits Durrës

 

Yesterday, the “Painters’ Colony” from the National Children’s Cultural Center arrived in Durrës. Young artists focused their gaze on the remnants of the ancient city, capturing the most representative monuments of historic Durrës. This journey across Albania continues, supported by a project backed by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation.

Epistolate – Reflections with Përparim Kabo

                               
At the Venetian Tower, Professor Përparim Kabo shared insights from his book Epistolate, inviting the audience into a journey of reflection on national identity, cultural heritage, and the legacy of Albania’s distinguished figures. The meeting sparked thoughtful discussions with the members of the “Gjergj Vlashi” Club, blending knowledge, ideas, and inspiration.
